Pixelmator Image Editor Released for iPad

There is no shortage of inexpensive Mac image editing applications but let's be honest and say up front that most of them are pretty lame. In fact, there's only one that can be considered even remotely as a Photoshop challenger and that's Pixelmator. Built from scratch as a Mac application, Pixelmator has progressed steadily since its debut and version 3.2, released in May of this year, marked a significant step forward, adding such things as a greatly-improved Repair tool, support for 16 bit per channel images and a Lock Layers feature.
